The Chadar trek (also known as Zanskar Trek), is a most remarkable experience in the Himalayan ranges. This trek is over the frozen River Zanskar that becomes a thick sheet of ice during the winters. Make your way over this sheet of ice and maneuver narrow ridges.
This region records the lowest temperatures, which makes it one of the most exciting high altitude treks in the world. The activity starts at Chilling and continues till Lingshed, from where you will have to walk on the frozen River Zanskar or Chadar. Another important attraction of the region is the Buddhist heritage and religious richness.
